The Build

Owner-built, furnished largely by hand

Construction of both dwellings was carried out by the owners. The log walls were raised and fitted by hand on site, and the project was completed in 1995.

Most of the furniture and many of the fittings are handmade to suit the rooms they stand in, including the dining table, beds, counters and cupboards.
